    The size of the mpeg movies on this gallery???

    I want my mpeg movies to be around 5 seconds long but I dont want the filesize to be more than like 500-600kb each. Some of the movies on my gallery are almost 1mb each.

    Here is a sample gallery with the big mpegs im talking about.

      Lower the video and sound quality. You can lower the frame rate you can reduce the video dimensions. You really can get small size but it won't look good if you go too small

                      LDInternet once made a post about the cookies at Costco... It's a long story, but it really made sense.

                      Since then I lower my graphics as much as I can (in file size) with the least amount of quality. So if a 1 minute trailer is 2 megs... so be it.

                      Better to have good quality and sales, than no quality and no sales.

                      This method is proving itself true right now at CollegeFuckFest.

                          Holy SHIT!! I just watched on of your video clips. 839K FOR 6 seconds?? That's about twice what it could be.

                          I just made the latest CollegeFuckFest trailer. (Party 5 on the main page)
                          It's 46 seconds long and 3 megs in file size.
                          (about 65K per second)

                              I've been playing around with the same idea all day.

                              The result:
                              20 seconds .avi file at 200x150 pixels and great quality came to 1,168KB
                              5 seconds same as above came to 292KB
