Joost isn't as good as I had hoped. They repeat the same shows over and over. I thought it was going to be the actual channels. All of the content is specifically for Joost.

Yeah there is not a hell of a lot of content on there right now as they scale it up and it is choppy occasionally but their current content deals with big media names like Viacom (who sued youtube to get their content off there) Warner music etc should solve the content problem very shortly and all these new users in the expanded beta should solve the choppiness since it's p2p hopefully.

Not at the moment, no ads at all right now. Some people are suspicious as it was made by the same guys who started kazaa. I am sure they will have ads in the future but doubt they will go the adware/spyware route as they have too many big names involved and would be shooting themselves in the foot.

I checked real quick on the support forum but couldn't see your exact problem. Their servers might have just been overwhelmed today maybe

I counted 128 channels just now on the channel catalog, a lot of music channels, sports and documentaries. Oh and they have some old episodes of "Lassie" too. Also you will see some ads now if you watch long enough.
