It's burning and burning good, I live at the bottom of the hill by the Observatory. I left because it was way too close for comfort not to mention the smoke, now I'm staying in West Hollywood and you can still see it!

animals are fine. they zoo and fire department have a plan if fire comes to close, they surround the animals. from what the zookeeper said they should be ok.

Yeah, I'm up just north of LA and I could smell it this morning when I walked outside. So Sad - Dantes Peak is gone :o( The park is only about 4,000 acres, from what I understand, and as of last night they were thinking about 1,000 would have gone up. I wonder where it's at now...

what caused the fire? I am wondering how many of these fires in the past few years have been "terrorist attacks". Not really terror, but just attacks.
