It's the same, although naked can have more different meanings in a different context, like a naked flame, naked to invaders, the naked truth, a naked promise...Nude almost always references to unclothed people.

"Nude" is used more often in adult, but there are more google results for "naked"

Nude get more searches, I think more US people search for "nude" while UK would search for "naked" it's no fact though just my thoughts as for the meaning of the word I think it's the same.

edit: better thoughts above ^^

My general theory on Naked vs. Nude:

Naked: Just someone whitout clothes on.
Nude: Someone whitout clothes for a reason.

Example:
When you get out of the shower you are naked, not nude.
A model in a adult photoshoot is without clothes she is nude.

So, Id guess that ppl searching for nude are looking for more glamorous content than those searching for naked.

Nude sounds more 'artsy' to me. I know that's retarded.
