Well they fucked that movie up

When I was a kid, my brother and I were huge fans of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I mean massive fan, we had all the toys, games everything.

We used to race home from school to watch it at 4pm and drink our milk and eat our chocolate biscuits lol.

So a few days ago we were talking on the phone and I said to him that Teenage Mutant ninja Turtles is out at the movies and as a joke I said that we should go and see it, he was all for it lol.

They really fucked the movie up, some parts were funny, but I think they tried to be to clever with it and the kids of today I don?t think would really understand it like we did when we were kids.

Anyone here been to see it yet.

I saw it and I have to say it had quite a few more adult themes in it than I remember it having as a kid. I mean, for starters, when the fuck was April that hot? She used to be a geeky woman in glasses, and now she's some kind of supermodel with a dress sense.

Still, good to see the amazing job they did with Splinter:

Yeah thats true - April was really hot not like the old April lol.

That was a good point about this one is that Spinter was more active than the last one.

You do realize that the original comic books were more adult themed. It's only the cartoon and movies that it got kiddied it up. So actually this movie would be more like what the oriniators of the TMNT had in mind.

I have to admit that I didn't - to be honest I thought it was one of those nineties series that was later adapted into a comic (I knew of the comics but never read them).

The original comics came out in 1984 the cartoon series didn't start until 1987. The comics that came after were based on the TV series. Kind of like Pee Wee Herman. His original act was more adult themed. Once he went kiddie he couldn't go back.

I still have the original comics from 84 starting with the very 1st issue. I was estatic when I found out the cartoon was coming out. Then i watched it and moved onto buying samuri squirl comics.

My little brothers were way into TMNT so I've seen about every cartoon and movie up until this one, which I have yet to see.
If it sucks I'd rather keep my good memories intact...but April always was hot ;)
