i make threads sometimes to ignite discussions not because i am affected. i live a block and a half from my office, have an awesome honda prelude that i spend 30 bucks a month on gas and normally ride my beach cruiser to work. i personally am not bitching about gas, it is a topic for discussion.

I think every candidate, this election, is running on the "change" platform... doing anything else would be political suicide.

I guess it's a matter of the finer points of policy, and who we feel we can trust.

personally after what happened with Kerry (weak dem candidate) .. I really hope neither Obama nor Clinton win the primaries. Nothing against them, but I think that right now is not the best time to test the openness of the american people by trying to elect either a woman or a minority candidate. would hate to see another 4 years of republican fear mongering b/c close minded people still might go "white male" on the election. all for progress, and any other time, would love to see some like Obama win it, but we need to get back on track from all these Bush problems, and ofcourse, I'd like to see a Dem President this go round.
