I still can't see why it cost $258 million to make this movie! That's an incredible amount of money for a movie. It defeats the purpose of making a movie for a generous profit.

By the time the movies been in the theaters for a while and gone to DVD they'll be laughing, plus now you got a 1,2 and 3 boxset.

Will try and catch it soon.

2 of my friends saw a late night showing, said it was HORRIBLE. Like the movie is meant for 8 year olds, bad story line, boring scenes. Only thing they said was that the graphics were good, but they gave the movie a 6.5/10 overall. They said spiderman3 was so bad, it made the hulk look like a good movie.

alby_persignup 05-04-2007 10:14 AM

Damn!... cant wait to see that movie!. RUX!

badmunchkin 05-04-2007 10:28 AM

it was good - still better then 95% of the crap that's in theaters - but it was the most convoluted and directionless of all the Spidermans - it kind of meandered all over the place with no sense of direction - it was overly long and they did the whole LOTR multiple endings thing which worked even less in this film. Overall, it tried too hard, but was still entertaining - I give it 7 out of 10 but it was the worst out of the trilogy.

Cyndalie 05-04-2007 10:31 AM

Sweet, I'm psyched to see it!

ROFL, I'm glad that I wasn't the only one that didn't care for that part, I thought it was fucking stupid. My friends tried defending the scene, saying that they had to show the suit bringing that out in him, but I'm sure they could've used better methods.

wow... the contrasting opinions are crazy in here. just shows ya how different strokes hit different folks :winkwink: ...i've been a spidey fan since i was a kid and nothing will stop me from checking this joint out. i'm just glad they waited until the technology was available to make this series at least LOOK like it should

You have to be 5 years old to like this movie!

Redmanthatcould 05-04-2007 11:21 AM

Watched it at 12:40 a.m. at the ArcLight theatre in Hollywood.

Did not like it, and can't recommend it. It has it's moments, but overall not what I had anticipated.

But then again, I'm not the only one...

Not sure I'd say 5 years old, per se... but definitely not a film for a strictly adult audience.

Serendipity 05-04-2007 11:22 AM

Tiffany Preston 05-04-2007 11:27 AM
