Depends on the individual before they had money. If they were "real", it usually makes no difference having money. If they were bullshitters, yes, chances are they will just become "bullshitters with money".

Can think of two people - both have far more "wealth" than everyone together on this board (sorry Lens and Adult.com *lol*) - and a good lump more. Are they "different"? Na... just the same, but prob more aware of their responsibilities to others (staff etc) than when they were potless. In other ways, no different - still drive a car because it has wheels and serves a purpose - "cool cars" and flash bullshit is irrelevant.

Xenophage 05-03-2007 08:12 AM

When I get some money I will know if it changes you.

AR-Melody 05-03-2007 09:05 AM

sure money changes EVERYTHING... For the good and bad!.!

calibra 05-03-2007 10:05 AM

Sure it does. The worst thing is when young people get big money (from their parents, relatives, etc) and they do not have any idea how hard it's to earn the money. They are likely to become real fucking trash.

Back in the day my rags meant I could'nt feed my family.. so I guess broke is relitive. I have watched one of our own grow "rich" before my eyes. When I first met DukeSkyWalker he was a small program owner with a new angle. Duke and I became friends. As his company grew he did not change a bit. He would be as comfortable getting a hot dog from a street vender as he would be eating in the finest restaurants. Ive seen him in the company of millionaires and in the company of one sale a week affiliates, duke has always treated everyone equally. I wish during my high times I could have maintained the same confidence and integrity. Im not hand jobbing him but he is one of the only people I have seen that money had no effect on, same guy from begining to present.

Hey bro,
nice to hear those words, especially from someone like you.
You are truly a dear friend, and you know you can always count on me to be there.
I hope to see you soon.
Your Friend,
Duke

im not rich by any means, but going from broke to have some $ changed my outlook on life. i see things that i didn't really see before. i'm the same person though.

BangtheChampBabe 06-09-2007 01:13 AM

It all depends on the person I guess. It's always nice to hear when it changes people for the better and when people do positive things with their money... Example: Warren Buffet donating $30 some BILLION to charity... he's a true hero in my eyes!:2 cents:

Zuss 06-09-2007 01:43 AM

Not having money in a materialistic world also changes people and their social sorroundings....

astounding 06-09-2007 01:47 AM

More money only turns that person into a better person. Because now they realize that there's no time to fuck around, and you've gotta be persistent, committed and work on eliminating any lazyness issues if you wanna be rich.

BucksMania 06-09-2007 02:10 AM

as long as you dont take yourself too seriosly its ok :)
being nice person is good
but having a lot of money and still being very nice person is great, because a lot of people expect you to become a prick :)

It does for sure.

en21 06-09-2007 02:49 AM

it does for sure

Michaelious 06-09-2007 03:05 AM

It can do, depends on the person more than the money.

StuartD 06-09-2007 04:00 AM

I've found that having a lot of money doesn't change a person quite as much as their fear of losing it.

Rui 06-09-2007 04:30 AM

sure does, don't buy it for a second anybody that says the contrary...

Klen 06-09-2007 04:53 AM

Well when i earn good money i start to act like asshole for some time but then i realize there are people who earn 100x more then i so that doesnt mean anything :)

Adultnet 06-09-2007 04:59 AM

money change people...

divine116 06-09-2007 05:00 AM

yes most of the people!

squizzel 06-09-2007 07:04 AM

money changes the people around you and how they start reacting to you. You wouldnt believe how many "friends" need money loans. I have hardly made it but id say im in the top 1% of wealth for people my age. I have alot of broke friends my age always asking for money. It really changes your perception on people also...

nAtuRaLbEautY 06-09-2007 07:15 AM

yes it definitely does. one, you tend to change your economic status which leads to changing the clothes you used to wear, the resto where you used to eat, the car you used to drive, the social group where you used to belong..two, it changes your attitude, of course when you already have the money, your thinking now is either how to keep it or how to gain more..and so on and so forth..basically it changes the person, the question is whether it is for the better or for the worse...

but most of the people i know have become worse..
