I like hearing good things about ex crooks getting a second chance and really doing well at it, I've seen a few guys really do well in the straight world Unfortunately some of them fuck it up, I'm nearlly 44yrs old I was in my 20's when I went to prison, I dont mix with any crooks at all, and the only thing I do illegal is smoke weed and maybe go over the speed limit on my triumph.

These guys never actually ended up in jail again - they already had a ... fairly extensive "career" robbing banks etc :winkwink: and some had spent almost 30 years in jail over their lifetimes - they had no intention of going back if they could help it.

There was also an "honor" inbuilt - they would never steal from an individual - it was always banks/insurance companies etc. They also never shot anyone in the progress of a robbery (favorite was bang a few shots into the ceiling of a bank and bring down the plaster :1orglaugh ). They would never take drugs or sell drugs - drug dealing was regarded as scum world for "amateurs" :winkwink:

Only one who had a shorter life was a guy who had a daughter who ended up on drugs and that eventually killed her. He was totally screwed up over his daughter dying this way that he closed the store on a Saturday night and drove 50 ish miles and booked into a hotel and committed suicide by drug overdose. He was a very genuine/loyal guy and a pity he ended up that way.

I remember one .. he dressed like a typical old-style "gentleman" :1orglaugh

He had closed up his store one night and was walking home... some "kids" apparently started name-calling and ended up ... think they were going to mug him. Bad news!!! *lol* The all ended up on the ground and the law cleaned up.

Anyways... knew nothing about this and Tom was missing and nobody knew where he was.... Eventually we get a call from the police who "think" we may be able to identify someone :winkwink:

So... off to the visit the police and they guide me to the cells where I see Tom sitting on a bench. He had been in the cell for.. almost three days. Asks... "What you doing here Tom?" He replies "I never said a word - kept my mouth shut" :1orglaugh :1orglaugh Had to tell him he was the friggin victim and all the police wanted was his ID (just his name/address etc) :1orglaugh :1orglaugh But na!!! He would not even give them that! *lol*

I can see that guy sitting in a jail cell for 15 years and not saying anything :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

These kinda "crooks" are in short supply now - the current mob would piss their frilly panties when shit hits the fan and usually totally untrustworthy - no "code of honor" - they'd mug old ladies to grab a dime.

They were definitely an "odd bunch" and had some very weird family lives :winkwink: One was married to a lady who was the director of a very well-known international organization. With him as a crook and her representing the higher echelons of international commerce - they sure were an oddly matched couple :1orglaugh But.. seemed happy enough :winkwink:

I think that drugs like heroin is what has changed the crooks code of honor these days, Weak cunts out there belting, robbing and even raping old women, It makes me sick to the stomach the way things have changed, and unfortunately I don't think it will get any better,

Short while back I introduced two of these guys to a US govt officer (they were all guests here at the same time). The three of em shared "experiences" and was kinda funny :winkwink:

The US person had been in fairly severe scenarios during her law career and mainly in drugs area. It was totally refreshing for her to meet em - she thought they were both "cuties" :1orglaugh :1orglaugh She was just not used to dealing with folks with any morals and usually dealt with greedy killers. They all got on as great friends - especially when they found out she was in uc drugs and wanted to help her put the scum away in a jail cell :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

I find that some hi profile people find the other side of life quite interesting, mainly because they never rub shoulders in there different circles unless in a court room, lol, But when they get to meet the person on a personal level and realise that they aren't like the stereotypes they see on the news all the time, and they can carry on a normal conversation, They usually change there view, which I reckon is great :)

Same as mate, This is how the world expects people to move on sometimes, by making one feel inferior for making such split second decisions. No-one can say what they will do.
