My monitor just flipped 180!!!!

FUCK! My monitor just rotated 180 degrees. Everything was upside down and backwards.

TheDirtyWhiteBoy called and I had him look up how to fix it and the solutions were to dump the display driver and reinstall it. I dumped the display driver and now everything is right side up again. But now it looks like I'm 800x600 even though it says I'm at 1024x768. I checked the display settings and it says there is no display driver.

So how do I check to see which one I need?

The driver error initially said "ialmrnt5 driver has stopped working..."

Did you reinstall an up to date driver after you removed it?

At least it was not an upside down blue screen.

No this machine is a few years old. I don't know how to check to see what kind of driver I would need. That's what I was hoping to find out here. Does anyone know how to check and see what kind of card installed. (just short of going under the desk and dismantling the case and peeking in with a flashlight)

I would be willing to bet it's a rivaTNT... but I'm not sure how to tell which model#

If it's old and onboard it's likely Intel. Look on their site.
