    Advertising spots, pretty tough find

    What do you do to find new advertising spots? It's pretty tough to find space that will actually drive traffic to you.

    There's a ton of possibilities of course, like magazines, newspapers etc.. Bt what do you do to find the right places? I'm talking mainstream mostly.

              That's the problem. We have a textmessage service as well. Some how, we always end up with google for the dutch/belgium market.

                  yep yep. thats the thing. finding the RIGHT medium. maybe look around at what you other competitors, or people pushing the same thing. sorry i cant help you much here.

                      look hard for hidden gems!
                      every site that's similar to yours is a potential ad spot, email everyone you come across and offer them $xx for a banner spot ... you'd be surprised how many people will bite!

                      for example, I run a forum aussiecelebs.com ... our traffic is apparently 16% from belgium according to alexa ... I have no idea why. A lot of australian models are featured in German & Belgium magazines so maybe that's it ...
