img1 - looks really nice
img2 - WAY too much face work
img3 - again, too much face work, her face doesn't have any human characteristics left..sometimes the best part of a womans face is the beauty of some imperfections
img4 - face is overdone, the smile takes over everything because it is the only normal looking thing left
img5 - she looks like she is made of rubber now
img6 - awesome job
img7 - looks great
img8 - another good one
img9 - looks nice also
img10 - nice one again

it actually looks to me like you have a problem with close up face touch ups, because all of the others look awesome except the close ups

very good, but its just a little over-the-top....
Now if you were gonna shring them down and use them as graphics then fine, but as full size pics, very good, but as i said IMHO its just a little over-the-top....

Good work, you have a knack for the eye shadow too, Ill try messing with that feature...do you use a plugin or do you strictly use filters and channels n what not?

Completely agree with Jace on all his points on each image. Looks like youre over-removing things like natural wringles, such as from eyes, smiles, etc. So they're skin seems more rubberish.

You have mad skills, just back it down on the blurring or smoothing of the skin. They are looking too plastic. The trick to photo re-touching is that they don't look touched up. You never want to look at a pic and say "wow, she looks like a mannequin."

While your clearly have the talent to do incredible work, just tone it down a tad on the skin and you will be spot on.

Thanks all for your comments.

shuki I charge 1.50 per image. discounts on bulk orders

Deej i use filters, channels, image correction, and the dodge tool and burn tool are good for enhancing some highlights and shadows.

I even have a new set of retouched pics here.. seafiremedia.com/uploads/retouch2/

I toned down the skin blurring.

Good work. but....

I've been photo editing for years now, and i could tell that you are using a neat image filter/plug-in and a lot of pattern and healing tool.
if not, you over used noise removal as well as despeckle...

these are of course standards in photo retouching, but some are a bit too much, it makes these girls too superficial..
eitherway, pretty good...and i could even guess where you got your content
i knew the guy who edited for 'ashley bondage', he's the best photo editor that i've seen, too bad, he's not being well fed by his company...as the saying goes...

1 advice, on the neat image filter, keep everything in default
and when using the pattern tool, ALWAYS make a duplicate layer and decrease the opacity, then thats when you use the pattern tool.
i know you can understand me...
Good luck bro!!

hey I don't push this for them, I just use it... so don't flame me.

want a great plug-in/filter? Its Kodak's digital Airbrush. it's freakin awesome. I know people that use it at around 80% (tooooo high for me) I run it around 40% and it softens things really nicely without losing skin texture (the key to good softening is how much of the pores remain).

Honestly it depends on how feathery soft you want your picture to look, but this has great controls, so I recommend it highly. I assume someone like Dean Capture uses something similar to this. So if you like that look, it's a great way to make it happen.

As far as your pictures, pretty good. Not amazing. I think they have some contrast and mudiness issues... maybe it's lighting or brightness controls.. but they just seem a bit flat.. Couple of techniques can bring the picture to a Wow! factor... I don't claim my work to be amazing (nor do I think anyone else's is.. Even though someone like Dean creates great pictures, he still has a routine that gets done to every picture).... always working on getting better, just like everyone else.

i totally dont use neat image in those samples, but i just checked out that now, and i gave it a try and results were good. And thanks for advice on the pattern/stamp tool, i havent thought about that until now.thanks

actually the shiny skin was caused by dodge tool, i over used it. and not the noise removal.

yeah kodak's plugins are cool, but knowing that you can do that without plugins is the best!

If you actually didn't use any of the things i just mentioned, i would assume it took you about an hour and a half, just to finish the set of images that you just did, Or probably more...

Frankly i don't have the patience for that, thats why I'm using a faster method, like gel coloring (alpha channels) and color matching techniques, etc. if you're not aware of these photo editing styles then i would assume you haven't experienced working in a magazine/printing company. You should try to learn these other techs, they would definitely help you cut your work time in half. Not only that, you'll get a better result!

Photo editing is not just about cleaning blemishes, flaws and the like. Its also about making a person in the photograph 'more' appealing or beautiful, in a sense...once you get to understand that, the photo techniques will not be so difficult. I learned it from the guy who did work for 'lorelei' a long time ago.. anyway, hope this helps, i know YOU can understand what i mean...

o yah 1 more thing, dodge/burn tool is used for rendering, stick with the heal/stamp/pattern tools only! or if you really need to use it, make sure the opacity/flow is down to 11% (why 11%, cause when i worked for fhm thats what they taught me, i don't know why though, it just works, i guess )

Nice retouches, BUT... instead on spending so much time retouching really bad pictures, why not take the time to learn proper photography and have proper make-up put on your model before shooting?

I'm considering the fact that you might not have taken the pictures, in that case : nice job...

but the fact still remains that no amount of retouching to cheap pictures such as those can make them look great... you still need a great source to produce an oustanding final product.
