    Quick question for the TGP Gods. Is it cool to open the 2257 link in a new window?

    When submitting a gallery, will having the 2257 link open in a new window set off any alarms with the TGP scripts?

      Is it cool? Like hip, far out, narly or rad? Not really


      But if you mean legal.. I think it is.. It is also advised.. at least by me.. so you don't loose the surfer once he is done looking at the 2257 info that don't mean shit to him

                  Because I (thought) I remember some TGP's had rules where they didnt want stuff on your gallery opening in a new window. ie: pics on html pages, banner links etc etc....

                      Alot of the high traffic old school sites will not even accept a gallery with _blank or _new in the source.

                          It's a usability and information architecture (IA) question. If you don't want to (or can't because of a rule) open up in a new window then either A) put your 2257 info on the same page as your gallery or B) put a "GO BACK" button or link on your 2257 page so the surfer can easily go back. Make it usable and they will cum.
