What u think about my mainstream business idea www.ocfocus.com
It's a website and monthly publication that only lists businesses in Orange County. I thought about it when I was talking to someone about how much better the business journal could be. I mean it's obvious they are too influenced by the Irvine company and don't allow user reviews to our extent. Rather news, this is a place for people to search a business or field and see what other had to say about them.
This is more of a Yahoo local type thing that is just for Orange County and more based on the user reviews of each business. We will advertise locally with a generous budget and I came up with passing out fliers to businesses and a page add in the OC Register. This is besides the standard BBB and coc registration. The beta version of the website is here www.ocfocus.com but that's only half of the concept. |
