The first Veyron in Holland arrived a month ago. The lucky owner is Michel Perridon (owns Trust). The Veyron is 1,8 million euro here, 700 000 euro taxes :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Wow I've been following this cars progress and just WOW. Check out James from BBC's Topgear testing it out and getting the car to do 407 KPH. It's truely insane what this car is capable of.

I find that even when I'm caught speeding, as long as I wasn't cutting through traffic and being dangerous that cops generally let me go with tiny tickets or warnings.


A few years ago, at 3 am up a hill in White Rock B.C. I did 130 kph sideways fishtail, with about a 50 foot skidmark behind me, and got off the gas when I saw headlights about 2 blocks away.


Fuck.

He pulled me over and let me off with a warning, even though he was sitting there and clocked me at 130 kph in a 50 and witnessed me cross the yellow line AND do the burnout while rolling... he said he's seen me driving around town in the daytime and that he knew I always drove slow in town.
