Anyone Travel To HongKong and or Japan? - GoFuckYourself.com

I want to make a trip again sometime soon.
Maybe sometime after the September NewYork gathering.

I did most of Europe last Summer for 2 months and it was a blast.
Im trying to think of where to go next. Italy and the French Rivera sound good to visit again, but i want to try something new. Ive never been to China and im half chineese! I aint into that village shit so I was thinking HongKong. IT would be a nice trip back to the mother land, and get me in touch with my roots.

In fact if I go I think i will drop my American name enslaved upon me by the white man, and adopt a chineese name. Any ideas?

Also I was thinking Japan.
Do people normally make a trip to both countries in one trip? Or are they two seperate trips?

Anyone travel to these places recently? And how was it?

My wife wants to hit up India if we ever go to Hong Kong, but the fucking Pakistani's scare me! However I hear of people going to HongKong, Thailand, and India all in one trip.

my gf is from there so we will hit alot of place , i do know you will have more fun and find lot of sool sht there over euro place and the cost is less

Being a mutt like yourself I took advantage and ran an export business between the US and Japan for about 2 years. I travelled to Tokyo and the outskirts 1-2 times a month. I have relatives about 3 hours outside of Tokyo. It is a fucking blast over there! Plus since your wife let's you fuck other women you'll be in heaven as the native girls love foreigners! LOL

Plus they are hot as hell. Trust me the super hotties do not move to the states...

It is very easy getting around even if you don't speak the language and there is so much to do that you can be as busy or mellow as you like. The transit system is unbelievable. There is so much culture and the night life kicks ass!

Just my two cents. Never been to Hong Kong or China and have no desire to go to India... Anyways man hope this helps...

Is everything still VERY expensive in Japan, or have things calmed down?

I remeber years ago no one wanted to go there casue shit was just to expensive for americans

Regarding price everything is relative. If you do your research you'll be fine. Just like when you stay in a hotel in the states. If you touch the mini bar you know you will be taking it up the ass when they hand you the bill.

My sister lived in a part of Tokyo called Ikebukuro and she had a very nice apartment for about $700!

If you start researching now you'll be able to plan a nice reasonable trip. There are also a lot of agencies which can help with info. The yen is also not what it used to be so you'll have some currency leverage as compared to a few years back...

My wife and I are going to try and head over there next year and hit Korea too (where she has family).

Personally I love going to Asia. It is like Disney land for adults. Yes, you do need some bank but the R&R is well worth it...

Japan is awesome... I will be there again next month for two weeks. If you want kick ass night life you should go to Tokyo, for culture Kyoto is the best and if you have more time you should also go to Kyushu (one of the two southern islands).

Prices have gone down a bit in the last years. Regarding hotels... it's usually well worth it to go to a local travel agency in e.g. Tokyo as they offer some pretty good discounts. I once stayed a week in the Tokyo Hilton for about $100 a night. Just make sure there's no big convention at the same time.

I was in Japan for the world cup in July this year,
Great place but not cheap.

Hong Kong is ok..got the best chinese food in all of
asia haven't been there for a year..if you go to Hong Kong
don't stay too long it does get boring, might want to take
the train to GuanZhou and visit a club called Maggies

mainland china is very interesting while you'r there!

India is the dirtiest and poorest country i have ever visited
buy some perrier mineral water if you brush your teeth, but again
interesting to see. Hope you like curry !
