In captivity, squirrels need to be provided with a variety of foods to make sure they are getting the proper nutrition. Calcium is also very important, so you should include a calcium supplement for squirrels kept as pets. There are many types of tablets and powders available at pet stores that can be used.

Squirrels teeth grow constantly throughout their lives, and so you should make sure that they are provided with chewing material. Hard bark and large bones are good for this.

Make sure there is a constant supply of water for your squirrel. Put water in a heavy dish or in a water bottle attached to the side of the cage. Also make sure to thoroughly clean food and water dishes daily with hot water.

They look very nice! Just, make sure they see and "feel" as much nature as possible. Such animals are not build for living in cages and need to see and feel "green" ;)

i have hamsters
in the past i buy two of them two boys but the sellers made a mistake and give me a boy and a girl .. six week later had got 32 hamster.. :)

hell yea, so so so cute, but still difficult for me to get used to them, still seem rat-ish to me heehe, luckily my girl has no problem letting them crawl all over her :pimp

they're very cute! good luck with taking care of them, i'm sure they'll be a handful. just remember if it ever gets to be too much or you're not sure how to care for them properly, usually there are rescue programs or pet rehabilitators who will gladly take over for you if the need ever arises. :)

not really, they are still too young, they like to run into blankets and cudddle into them, and sleep
