Taking a poll - Is Bush an Idiot ?

I'm sure he's not an idiot. He looks good on TV (which takes talent). Becoming a president of the US is a difficult task which takes a lot of dedication and hard work.

If he is such an idiot, then why won't the geniuses here at GFY sign up for the job?

Given his strange decisions though, like the whole war thing, one wonders if there is some hidden agenda?

I would say all politicians are idiots and scumbags. Bush does not have a monopoly on that. He is just part of the same group of idiots.

I would say thats a big YES, and I don;t care where the hell he wen't to school and graduated from, trust me he didnt get into Yale with his smarts! two ways you can get into IVY league schools, 1 being smart, which Bush is not, and 2 family name or family money, do the math

Most definitely - it does take a lot of hard work and dedication - normally. It's just the vacation times (working of course) that interrupt that hard work.

He's now on to greater things and doing the same with the country as he did with the State of Texas. Everything is under control - excellent monetary policy and strong currency, peace and prosperity all round, the best international relations the US has ever seen, booming US industry and a massive trade surplus - good stuff

It really takes more than an idiot to achieve this level of "success" - probably something prehistoric that crept from a swamp and where the mental abilities have not evolved yet
