Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed. |

Link Project II
Ok
Here is the deal. We all know that Search Engine rankings are greatly helped by the number of links pointing to a web site. So why not regroup ourselves ? Here is my offer: -Create a database of as many websites as possible. -List each website name and url -Have this list accessible through 2 or 3 links within each listed websites (crawler as their name indicates, crawl the web and follow each link in crawled website), the links doesn't have to be visible by surfers. -The order of the list does not matter, since we are doing this to increase our link popularity and not get hits from the list itself. I am not doing this to make money from webmasters or to spam anyone, I need to get my site listed in search engines as high as possible, therefore the more links I get the better it is. In order to get linked somewhere else I need to reciprocate, therefore you help me, I help you... So, let's start a discussion on this and see how it goes. For practical reasons, here is how it would work (at least for now) -webmaster goes to a sign up page -webmaster enters site name and url -once a week or once a month or... a new link list is emailed to all webmaster who can update the one they have AGAIN: The order in which sites are listed does not matter, you can list your sites first or last, it does not matter, what matters is that a web crawler or robot can access the list... Now, let's discuss

I did something exactly like that three years and got a bunch of my domains booted from several different SE's.

this would be done in a manner which does not look like search engine cheating
the list would be linked from something that says for example: "favorite sites" or whatever else we agree on...

It won't work good even if everybody will follow the rules. I won't explain why for obvious reasons :-) Maybe some of the domains will score good, but in general terms the whole result won't be good. The whole process involves more things you probably can imagine and any type of co-operation will harm instead doing good.

btw,if you find any claiming SE expert talking you about metatags send him here to execute his sorry ass. The first thing a SE optimizing co. needs to prove is that they have get a decent position for their own site and there are only 10-15 top positions.....
