    Should i let my wife work a job? thoughts?

    She is sorta bored just hanging around the house all day.

    We dont need the money...but she thinks it would be nice for her to be doing something.

    I dont know what to tell her....we will have kids in maybe one year. So she can take care of them better if she isnt working.

    Maybe i should get her making galleries or some shit to keep her busy....lol

    She can go shopping or some shit with her friends each day.

    If she was going to be doing any work..id rather it was just for us....maybe she can start another little store or something.

          Dude, i can't find a girl that will pay for dinner once in a while.
          Let her do something. You are fortunate to have a woman that is mature, responsible and giving.
          You should look at it as an honor, and be proud of the kind of Lady you have.
          It's not like she's going to be running Intel in the next few months, and can't take off for kids, if that is in your future.

                                  Seriously though, my wife stayed home for a year to work with me and was miserable. She wanted to spend more time with the kids and have more freedom, but after a couple of months found herself missing the adult interaction she got outside the home.

                                      If you're not having kids for another year, she can still work up to that point. After that, I definitely think someone should stay home with the kids. I really don't understand the desire some have to send kids to a day-care type setting so both parents can work if it isn't really needed.
