Raccoon or opossum? I had a rat in my previous house. It tore huge holes in everything. Finally I left poison out for it, then it DIED in the crawlspace. Yes, I had to go into the crawlspace to retrieve a rat full of maggots. God what a mess.

I want to take a shot gun and start firing into the walls. This thing is creepy. Started a couple days ago. Went away for a day and now its back. Woke me up right out of my sleep.

Homeless people won't leave willingly. Try to bait it out with the cheapest bottle of wine you can find, or some mouth wash -- either will work fine. After you get it down from the attic spray it with a hose and it should scamper off.

raccoon..set a trap with poisoned food...and then go up there with some spray insulation and close up the holes.

make sure you dont close off the air though or your attic will freeze in the winter

Get a PROFESSIONAL to look into it! Where do you live? In Tucson, AZ we have problems with Pack Rats! They destroyed my friend's house. Ate through wiring and everything. Had half the crawl space in the attic filled with stuff.
I also had a neighbor who had squirrels in the crawl space. They did a lot of damage too. Ate through the ceiling. Get it checked ASAP!

Probably it ..I have them,coons,a family of 4 skunks at one time,now just one living in a woodpile out back,and the occasional coyote ..North Burnaby is great but lots of wildlife
