    BOMB THREAT @ Local College

    BREAKING NEWS: KVCC Downtown and Texas Twp Campuses closed due to threat
    April 19, 2007 - 9:52AM


    NEWSCHANNEL 3 has learned that KVCC has been contacted by state law enforcement authorities and were made aware of a very specific threat to both campuses. As a result, they are cancelling classes for today and tomorrow. They are also actively working with local law enforcement agencies to resolve the situation.

      KVCC closed by threats

      KALAMAZOO -- Kalamazoo Valley Community College has closed their campus due to an undisclosed threat. KVCC is closed both Thursday and Friday.

      In a statement released by Michael R. Collins, the Vice President of College Relations, KVCC was "contacted by state law enforcement authorities and made aware of a very specific threat to our campus. As a result, we are canceling classes for today and through the weekend and are actively working with local law enforcement agencies to resolve the situation."

              wouldn't be surprised if its some kids fucking around because of the virgina tech incident just to get out of classes.

                              it's happening all over the country. there were 2 schools closed in AZ. One of them got a 3 page typed letter/rant/warning.

                              this week is the anniversary of waco, oklahoma city, columbine and now vt

                                      My high school had over 10 bomb threats my sr year.

                                      The last one was when some moron called the FBI from the pay phone outside our high school and said "there is a bomb at xxxxx high school" He did not say the what state, so they closed all xxxx high schools in the nation.

                                      Needless to say they figured out where all call came from and our school was crawling with FBI....good times good times.
