There are many UNESCO...studies that always show Canada in the top 3 countries to live in and Vancouver is always rated as one of the nicest cities by all sorts of polls...so I am wondering if there are any other sizeable cities that are comparable?

I love Victoria Island ! :)

Recent transplant to Scottsdale, AZ from Tulsa, OK via a far south suburb of KC, KS.

Hey Fletch whereabouts in Hollywood are ya? I spent about nine months in the 1800 block of North LaBrea; it kicked ass, but I was young and foolish and failed to take advantage of the opportunities. Oh well, life goes on.

Lesseee...3 hours from my Mom and Dad's house to the western edge of the Atlantic, across the Atlantic, then another 6-7 hours drive from the eastern edge of the Atlantic to my house. I can't remember how far that is in miles but its a fucking long way sometimes. :(

haha... another myth of the third world countries.

but then, it's relative on how you define "living like a king" :)

Middle up class, yesss... but you won't lead a fascinating lifestyle with $2,000 a month. Not in Mexico.

Many stuff is more expensive in Mexico than in the States: cars, computers, fridges, tv and anything that runs with electricity or is batery operated : P

On a positive note, food and housing is cheaper, and you can afford a full time maid for less than $12 a day.

corvette 08-18-2002 09:07 AM
