And i dont think lensman OR the HEFSTER will sit idly by while their content is being stolen so blatantly. The problem is pretty simple.. i am a salesman for lensman, im seling his product . I cant sell his product is its being given away for free. If he doesnt have a problem with it, then neither do i. |

In 2003 people shared what they got. the torrent scene is much different now. These people arent sharing. someone goes about stealing content for the SOLE purpose of advertising non-competing products ( i.e. dating ) in 2003 i wasnt competing with torrent on the se's |
they are probably putting some stuff out there on torrents on purpose.

BitTorrent is just a peer-to-peer communications protocol for file sharing. What the users share is not the site's problem. Educate yourself dumbass: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent |

You all whine on message boards (just for the sake of whining, because no one has a clear understanding of the problem) and no one would actually lift a finger to do anything about it. While all you idiots who make $300 a month whine and moan, real "industry" players don't give a shit and are laughing all the way to the bank. |

If you are not the content owner you should contact the content owner PRIVATELY so they can take legal action accordingly. I know it's fun to call out these little love triangles on GFY and you probably will get a faster response, but it does little to actually bring down the torrent sites or harm the people running them. AFF drops them, there are others that will slide in. I'm sure the cost of running those sites is minimal. One lost AFF check isn't gonna stop them. Just my opinion. We do own content, and I'm telling you we would rather be told about theft and criminal activity involving our content privately. |
Organizations like MPAA and RIAA have been battling torrent sites with very little success. What makes you think losers like you will make a difference? :1orglaugh
So yeah, keep making these idiotic threads, maybe someone will buy your sig next month. |

I agree with your points Smokey but this is where you are wrong. Most countries dont give a shit about the DMCA.Thatīs the problem. If you donīt believe me just look at the pirates bay. They even post the complaint letters they get on their site and make fun of them. And there are legal BT sites (linux ISO sites for one.) But you are right, this situation really sucks. We could spend all day arguing about the legality of it but at the end of the day we are all getting fucked here and if you cannot see it then you will when it hits you where it counts: your pockets. |
the bittorrent protocol itself isn't illegal. i've seen it used properly many times. for example blizzard used it to facilitate patches and upgrades for their world of warcraft software. it is used properly with intended purpose by many companies. don't bash the protocol. it wasn't purposely designed to be used for the distribution of stolen content.

When you type in bria brenner you dont even have to finish typing before google suggests "bria brenner torrents" people who have no idea about what a torrent is suddenly do :) without google the problem is much smaller right off the bat. enforce the dmca's on google and the affiliates will make money instead of AFF |
As I said before, I'd approve if AFF was banned for good from GFY.
They are hurting the adult business as a whole. |

HTTP is just a protocol, but hosting cp pics is illegal. thunderbird is just an emailclient, but mailing cp pics to someone is illegal. ... bittorrent is just a p2p protocol, but spreading stolen content IS illegal... profiting from this IS illegal... facilitating this IS illegal... |
