    CARACAS, Venezuela - Not long ago, President Hugo Chavez was embarking on ambitious plans to produce ethanol as the eco-fuel of choice. But within the past two months, the biofuel has suddenly become a villain for him and a major point of friction with Brazilian leader Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

    Their dispute, raised in part by a U.S.-Brazil ethanol agreement.......

    Chavez said last week that Venezuela was working on an alternative proposal to "overthrow" the U.S.-Brazil agreement, which he characterizes as an ethanol "cartel"

    Oh you mean kind of like OPEC?

          Don't get me wrong, I think Hugo Chavez is a piece of shit and all, but DAMN that man is funny!

          When he gave that speech at the UN after Bush did and was talking about how the place still smelled of sulfur I about died.

                      Of course he's serious *lol* That's the... kinda irony! He's as serious as another leader with the same vocal rhetoric and he expects to be taken seriously as well.

                      Chavez is.. amusing - but same with US leadership he is vocal over. The pair of em need dumped in the sea.


                      PS What is exactly wrong with OPEC? Nothing is ever perfect, but seems like a democratic organization - ie.. the countries who own oil are managing the distribution of these resources

                          Seriously, everytime I hear snippets from his speeches I laugh. President Ahmadinajad always has me cracking up too.
