What do you do about people in your life who...
Take the wind out of your sails?
 Do you have anyone you know, family, friends, SO etc. who don't have the same vision as you do and constantly bring you down? yeah, you can prove it with money, flashy toys etc. - but I'm talking about like REALLY ambitious projects in any field be it this industry, writing a book, opening a business etc. - things you believe in that you actively pursue.

Avoid them. Easier said than done sometimes... but you have the choice of being brought down by them or doing what makes you happy; even if it's ridiculous and stupid.
You don't have to prove yourself to or convince anyone of anything. Live for yourself and the ones that are there for you unconditionally.
