Home video connaisseurs
I want to transfer all my dvd movies onto a hard drive where I can browse through them. I know there is a name for this piece of hardware I just can't think of it and google has not been helping me.... Anyone know what this is? Something that can store 100's of dvd's.

no not that, Im looking for a system that will display and sort dvd's by category... accesible through a home theatre system. Sort of like an on demand interface.

I think the term you're looking for is HTPC. Google that for a start towards what you're trying to do.
