    2008 US PResident?? Need opinions...

ive been checking out Tons of POLLS for my marketing research class and so far it seems like

    Clinton will be democrat winner
    and
    Giuliani will be republican winner.

There is a MOE but in almost all the cases even with the MOE these two guys come out on top..

Is it just me or are these 2 candidates weak?

The elections are in November and unless a miracle happens, Obama isnt winning....

Also the majority have the democrats to control the white house..

so are you telling me that our next president is Clinton???

Everyone keeps saying NO but if democrats win then its gonna be clinton or obama(but obama % is so much lower than clintons)

So yea, our first female president here we come...

    What are your thoughts?

I am thinking that the Dems are going to run Hillary because they know this is their shot to make history. Too many people are going to vote against the Republicans regardless of who the other person is.

I would love to see a strong independent candidate run this year. The two party system is outdated. We need more choices than two ass-hats that no one really wants in office.

From preliminary polls, Obama has no chance even if you factor the MOE.
Im saying this from raw data from over 20 difference major polling companies..

ALso one of the polls has people voting 59% - 41% Democrat - Republican with a MOE of 5% or so, which is pretty significant because it means if the polls stay the same Clinton will win

I'm a John Edwards fan... I'm hoping he'll pull ahead in the months to come.

J Edwards needs a miracle to win. He is way behind on ALL the polls, some even have him as low as 10%,

Actually he is at 17% and at this point 4 years ago he was lower and Kerry was even lower and was about to drop out of the race, and Howard Dean was the runaway frontrunner. How'd that work out for Dean?

its way too early to tell, remember it was Howard Deans early then he disappeared. Also Rudy will not be the republicans choice ,he cant win other then 911 he has way too many skeletons in his closet. They are also scared his ex wife is gonna start talking and he has children that will have nothing to do with him. Also before 911 happened he wasnt that great of a mayor.

Neither will get their parties nomination. Polls now mean squat. Go look at a Dem poll from April 2004. DEAN was the guy.

No it's not it means nothing

Dec 2003 poll. Just weeks before the primaries

                        Howard Dean 45%
                        John Kerry 20%
                        Undecided 15%
                        Wesley Clark 8%
                        Joe Lieberman 6%
                        Dick Gephardt 3%
                        John Edwards 2%

Yet somehow Edwards comes in 2nd.

It is so early that anything could still happen. There isn't a single candidate out there that doesn't have some kind of flaw. Obama is black, Edwards failed as a vice pres candidate and his wife has cancer so he may be distracted, Hilary is very polarizing, Giuliani is basically a social liberal and McCain, among other flaws, seems desperate and comes off as a guy that will say anything to get elected.

A lot of things could happen in the next 1.5 years that would change the face of the election. At this point it is all speculation. You can't talk about who has a chance and who doesn't until the primaries start.

The only candidate I've seen worth his or her salt is Bill Richardson.

Not this November fool. Blacky isn't winning the nomination and I don't think people are mad enough at the Republicans to elect Hilary to the presidency. I hope McCain takes the Republican nomination. Rudy might be good too but I hate most republicans.
