I was one of those idiots waiting in line for an XBox last year. I only stood outside for about 3 hours. I waited from 9pm to midnight. At least I don't feel so bad because the guy who was first in line was there since 6:30am.
It's a kick-ass gaming system, but I just don't seem to have the time for it - I spend a vast majority of the time right where I am now. Every now and then, when some friends show up, I'll play it - but for the most part I don't play it that much.
Now that this XBox Live is finally getting of the ground, I'm sure I'll be playing it a little bit more.
I hear that it's only gonna be about $50 for the whole years subscription to their service - plus you get a game too.

Madden NFL 2003 will be out this month with online gaming for the PS2. But I haven't heard anything about sony launching an online network for the ps2 a la xbox live.FTVGirls simply convert better.
More free content than SobeGirl and

"LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- Microsoft Corp. Tuesday said it will launch "Xbox Live," the online gaming service for its video game console, in North America November 15, the Xbox game machine's one-year anniversary.
The service will require a $49.95 starter kit, which includes 12-months' access, a game and a headset kit for voice communications with other players.
At least six online-enabled games will be available for the console at launch, with about 16 by the end of the year, Xbox spokesman David Hufford told Reuters."
My favorite part of this entire thing is the ability to 'taunt' your victims through a microphone headset, while kicking their ass!!
