Easiest way (not the official but works for me)

Create a new folder (named 'myoldinbox' for example)
in outlook and go the the dbx directory.. you'll see that there
is a new dbx file created in the dbx folder named 'myoldinbox.dbx'.

Remove the file

Now rename the old dbx file you wanted to restore
to myoldinbox.dbx and restart outlook express..

The myoldinbox folder in outlook should now contain
all restored messages.

OE rocks..
