SEO tip 1 from MrChips.

All,

Does anyone here think that there is any similarity between the way google performs the following two distinct tasks.

a) Locates webpages on its search engine by taking a query "word1 word2" and "deciding" which pages which are in its eyes "relevant" to the entered query.

b) Decides which pages are "relevant" for the insertion of an adwords ad who's advertiser entered keyword list includes "word1 word2".

If there is a similarity - then perhaps a good way of getting good organic placement would be to experiment with adwords and the "content network".

Simply by writing a page, and SEOing it for "word1 word2",
Then setting up an adwords campaign for "word1 word2", which shows whatever page you like on the ad.
Then one could in theory then make constant changes to the page until your own adwords ad showed on it.

Once they (your adwords ads) showed (on your webpage which is a "member" of adsense) - again in theory and if there is a match in the adword and organic listings algo - one at least would know that one had his/her "onpage" SEO factors nailed.

MrChips.

not true.

Adsence uses a completely different algorithum than the search bot, and so does Adwords with their quality score ranking to your page (uh oh, just spilled some beans )

Im not an adsence pro (adwords maybe) but to get a certain type of ads to show (the ones that you want because they pay the most) use proper html formating, heading tags, alt tags, meta tags and 2-3% kw density
