I made this site and created a logo for it in PS. I forgot to save it as a .pdf. So a few weeks later i made a sister site and needed that logo but slightly different. I had to create it all over again. Something that couldve been done in 2 mins took me 20 mins. Guess what. I forgot to save it as .pdf again so right now i'm busy making that logo again from scratch.

He wouldn't have to save it as a PSD file, you just hit save... so I am pretty sure he meant PDF.

And you don't design logos with Photoshop, you edit photos, hence the word "photo" in the name.

Well first of all he's talking about editing a logo which I assume would be done in Photoshop over Acrobat.

Second of all there are a lot of designers out there designing logo's with Photoshop. It's not just for editing photo's. You can create whole website layouts with it.

I have a clue, that's the problem. My clients include Universal Studios, Disney, Westin Hotels, Mandalay Bay Vegas, Caesars, The Flamingo, to name a few... but feel free to question my graphic design knowledge anytime noob who doesn't know how to hit Ctrl-S in photoshop.

Well you said Photoshop is only for photos, which is in my opinion not correct. That's what I was trying to say. And people that make galleries or cheap logos use Photoshop too, if you're designing pro logo's then yes I'd also not recommend PS but Franck is not talking about that since he also said it was a 20 minute job.
