Did anyone try RSS Magician?

http://www.rssmagician.com/
Is it any good, or a waste of 50 bucks?

also I'd like to know, does it's algorythm contain any randomness, or if I and someone else use a certain feed, we will both get the same result?

according to the demo, it looks pretty independant.
you insert a feed URL, chose some options and it gives you a new URL of the "rewritten" feed...

spinners like this usually require your intervention which renders them almost useless IMO

I use Gallery Scraper which turns your FHGs into blog posts, so basically:
url|short description|long descriptions
results in these (the top few posts) and you can easily add more text if that's what you want:
http://www.ebonygirlz.info/

so far that's the best solution if you want to update a few hundred blogs (or at least the best I've tried)

$50 bucks? Hmm... I have written a custom plug-in for WordPress which rewrites all the importing RSS feeds using my own random synonyms table. It works great for me and was cost me nothing

You can distribute this code to anyone and anywhere you want ? friends, forums, etc. - there's no limit to how many people can use it. To redeem their discount, have your friends enter your code in the 'promo code' box on our order page. Your code again is LUCKYYOU8668346, if you have any questions, let us know!
Good luck using the products,
The Halfagain team.

Well good for you?

Not everyone is a coder. You going to give yours to everyone for free?

people who arent coders generaly spend money on applets. Thats just how it works. I'm not bad with PHP but its much easier and quicker for me to fork out $50 than write something myself. I normaly blow more than that on lunch with my friends almost daily.

Course you are right. But I still didn't get how exactly it works with WordPress? Can you install RSS Magician over your WordPress-based blog and make it working automatically? I don't know. That's why I think that custom WordPress plugin is better. Furthermore, the custom thing is a custom thing, so it makes the blog feeds look much different. BTW, I'm not a guru of PHP as well, but actually it's very easy to write such a plugin you you have even basic knowledge of PHP programming

Doesn't seem worth $50. I would rather pull RSS feeds into a database and then manipulate them in my own unique way rather than use some script that anyone can buy. You can even use my free script to add RSS feeds to your mysql database.

Many of us CODERS even spend money on applets. It took an enormous amount of hours for me to write Autoblogger Pro. I guess it just depends on how much you value your time. I'd spend $50 or even $500 on a utility that saved me the time in writing it.

It also depends on where you live, too, I guess. A coder in, for example, Russia, is much more likely to WRITE something than to spend money. It's not like they're doing anything but waiting in line for toilet paper.
