I am the most non-christian peson ever, it has nothing to do with morals!!!!!

It has to do with insecurity and jealousy. If a person had a lot of partners I will feel like I have to "live up" to the others in their past and wonder if I am attractive and good enough. If their partners were "better" than me it will haunt me. It will make me feel like I'm not good enough, and I have to constantly have the BURDEN of living up to the other people in their past. What if they were better than me? better in bed than me? better looking than me? made more money than me??

I will always wonder what their partners look like, if they were more attractive than me. etc etc

It has NOTHING to do with morality.

I am just a jealous person. I like to be the best. Plus it has to do with jealousy of someone's past...

Also, if someone had many partners I feel like I always have to live up to something. It makes me feel unworthy, like if their partners were better looking than me it will make me wonder why that person is even with me...

jealousy is just a weakness based on insecurity - if you're not insecure about yourself there's no need to be jealous of anyone - I used to be jealous & it's hard to get over, but it's not a factor in my life anymore :)

yes I read what you wrote - I was responding to TurboAngel, not to you. Like I just said, you need to look within yourself and find out why you are insecure and feel the need to be jealous. If you are happy within yourself, you cannot be jealous of any other human being. :thumbsup

Sorry to say, but my insecurity will probably never change and based on that I prefer someone with less partners because it makes me less neurotic.

I would really worry a lot if they had lots of partners since I already am so insecure.

It's already bad enough to have to compete with people AROUND you in the world, let alone compete with people from someone's past.

And I will never be happy with myself either.

Even if I was secure I would probably still get cheated on because there is always better than me out there, so it doesn't make a difference either way!

sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy - don't make blanket statements - they become mission statements and color your entire view of the world and how you see yourself in it - try looking at things from completely the opposite perspective for awhile - it might help :thumbsup

I also don't like open relationships because I don't even like "other people", I only like myself and whoever I'm with. I am not sociable so I don't want to socialize with strangers let alone have sex with them. Again, it's not morality, just a personal preference.

I HATE it when people assume its about morals just because I don't want someone who had lots of partners. It has nothing to do with that at all!!
