I need a converter from WMV to AVI

    Hello there,

I need a software that will convert my WMVs to AVIs. It needs to take a batch of files convert them to AVIs at the same order as the source.

So if I have 5 WMVs I can put them all in convert and I will get 5 AVIs.

AVS Video converter gave me a lot of black areas with damage files, not sure what happened. I am looking for another software.

    Please help!!!

Smart Video Converter is one shareware app that can convert WMV to AVI. I forget if it can batch a bunch of files though. Google it and see if there is a newer version than the old version I use and maybe it has that feature.

why would you want to do that? Why not use the originals?

If I had the originals I wouldn't need it. A content provider sent me WMV files. I need to modify it and I can only do it in AVI.
I still don't understand why the content provider doesn't have AVIs, but that's a different story
