Is this shaving?

Ive been sending traffic to a dating site for the past two months and I think something is up.

Im not going to mention any names until I can dig further into this, but something does not seem right here...

Ive been using adwords and yahoo (PPC) traffic and sent over 10,000 visitors in the last 60 days. When I look at the stats, it shows I only sent 6,000 and some visitors in that 60 day span. Im concerned because that looks like a 40% cut of my visitors... and even worse im paying by the click!

I companies shave, thats the nature of this business... but 40%? seems like a lot. I send adwords and yahoo traffic to a number of sponsors, both adult and non adult and I know it is not always 100% accurate, probably 90-95% at most, which throws up a huge flag when there is a 40% difference. Ive even broken the campaign down by week and still see an average 40%, so its not like a few days are missing, its each day its off.

Ive tried to contact the sponsor about this, but no response back. I know there are a number of people who promote them, but any suggestion of what to do besides calling them out without solid proof?
