there is a ton of stuff in there that would take you years to put together and try to compete with. fuck even sexsearch tries to compete with them and doesn't even come close to AFF.

The point of my post was to see if anyone here would be interested in purchasing it and could have had an early oppertunity to register their interest to be notified when it goes up for auction - I am aware of the 90 day rule

Why would anyone be "stupid" to buy this name ?

Well obviously no not with just a memorable name alone but in a very competitive marketplace it *could* help give a possible competitor an edge.
Being only a small time, independant webmaster I haven't got anything like the resources available to me to develop a site capable of competing with AFF but I imagine there are some on this board that does and it was to those I was aiming the possible future ownership of the name at.
