Where to buy flyfishing rod ??

I have been thinking about geting a new flyfishing rod for a long time. I'm looking at the Gary Loomis GLX series. I se those rods cost around 600-650$ in the US. Here in norway they cost around 1200$. So I'm probably gonna order one from the stats. Any one have some stores to recommned?? Prefably online.

I have a friend who's a very good fly fisher. He told me that the best flyfishing rods are the ones made by yourself.
Search on google and you'll find tutorials for sure...

I have been looking at the orvis rods as well. Actually requested a catalog from them earlyer today. Their stuff looks good. But I'm having a hard time finding any orvis dealers over here. Would be nice to test/feel the rood before I buy one. Hehe that rod there looks awsome 1-oz. Not your best friend in wind but as a small stream rod it's probably great. Low atmf class rods are really fun trowing with. To bad the wether is rufh up here. It's not many off the days where I could put light roods like that to use

hehe, yeah well my favorite spot is in a small valley. small stream, gentle breeze, trout aren't too big.
The rod works well.
good luck with your hunt for a rod.
