I tried a few years back to get adult working for me and was making a few k /yr but it was too much to do part time, and I was never prepared to give up my career. Now, I hover around the 4/5 figure boundary/year coding freelance in my spare time. Much more enjoyable, less work and certainly more guaranteed.

I do it for pocket cash, and enjoy it in the meantime.
