This fucker I know claimed to have drank 3 cases in 9 hours. Is that outrageous?

I once drank an 18 pack in 90 mins. Almost died tho. Woke up in a world of puke. Good thing I was on my stomach me thinks.

This is the day i quit drinking/ it was new years eve 2 years ago. after 30 shots of butterscotch and blueberry schnapps, i ate a full bowl of jello shots then a 30 oz. glass of vodka and OJ. I don't remember why I quit drinking, but the next day I sure felt the reason.

Since your speaking about large quantity of alcohol consumed...I went to the beach this week-end, and I saw this guy who weight maybe 120 (he looked like he was 17 years old i'd say...) anyway...it was like 2pm and damn hot outside and he looked kinda dizzy...(he was probably already drunk...)...nothing unusual since almost everyone was half-drunk on the beach...BUT...at about 3pm I saw that guy with a 26oz of vodka...he drank the whole thing in about 60 seconds (really...no more than a minute)...and he was already drunk like hell....all of his friend were cheering around him....I was like...Damn..how can someone be that stupid....still it was damn funny to see him struggle to stand on his feets....pretty funny...then he felt on the ground and started convulsing and puking on himself...some was still thiking it was funny....but then he stoped moving and started choking..I heard someone scream "He's turning blue!"...Then a huge crowd came around the guy...it was kinda hard to see what was happening...10 minutes later the ambulance arrive, he was leaving, in the semi-coma... and it was then that I resumed my volleyball game....
I guess this is what you call dead-drunk...

About the only way you can OD from alcohol is drink a stupid large amount quick, at the same time this can happen with marijuana to, its rare, but there has been cases of people eating a large amount then dying.

On a normal sitting I drink a 40oz of Jim Beam.

The largest amount in one sitting was on acid, 1 bottol jim + 1 bottol tequila, then myself and a buddy went to a party and consumed all beer available not sure how much prolly about 12 cans each, when that ran out we started into water (just had to drink something)

Didn't get any major hangover or puke, I think the trip was pretty strong, still felt like superman 2 days later.

Last new year's eve, myself and a group of friends went to Stradbroke Island, just off the east coast of Australia. I was going to have a quiet evening, just a six pack. But after i was done with that, people just kept giving me booze. So, i had a bit more beer. And then the yard glasses with vodka mixes started flowing.

So, i go over to see how rachel is going, and she drunkedly eggs me to skull her bottle of whiskey. A few moments later, and two thirds of a bottle later. I felt okay.. For about five minutes, which is when it hit me. We were on the way to blue water lake and everything just went to shit. lol

I somehow managed to run off into the bush, but a few of the girls came in after me to drag me back to the truck. I made some wisecrack about how this wasn't all that different from a fantasy of mine.

So, we drove back to camp, and jodie tucked me into my sleeping bag. I woke up an hour later, at 12:30, having missed New Years, and luckily missing Nathan doing his drunken nudey run.

I managed to step in the fire twice. Stayed up talking shit with some friends, watched the sun rise over the Pacific ocean. Went to bed, and woke up, miraculously, without a hangover.

So, some whiskey, some beer, some other stuff. And it all came back up eventually!

Umm I was 17 and it was the night of the biggest house party the world has ever seen, I'm talking 400+ and this wasn't a big house.. it was utterly crazy

Anyway at about lunch time we had a couple of pints at the pub to chill out, we spent in the afternoon hotboxing a car then to the pub again.. alcohol consumed at the pub, about 4 pints and 4 double vodka red bulls... at the time this pub charged £2.50 for a d.v.r.b. so we went crazy with those...

by this time I was already completely pissed.. without even getting to the party......

then to the off license, got myself a six pack and half a litre of smirnoff's finest red..

finished that off at the party pretty quickly, had a little bit of action ;) and talked lots of random bollox and can't remember anything after 9pm, needless to say i puked a hell of allot and although i dont get hangovers i felt like utter shite the next day

at about 11pm 8 coppers turned up in a riot van and finally the "pigs are here" rumour that goes every huge party was actually true

several hundred wasted people just ran..

i'm usually pretty responsible with my drink and get drunk without going over board but that bit the cookie, maybe no food since breakfast didnt help either

lesson learn.. too much, too quickly, too early

Recorded history is one thing. You actually believe people weren't burning and smoking the stuff that grew around them before they figured out how to cultivate grapes into wine?

Like I said before, I've not really got time for this.

That other thing you said though...OD'ing...

Are you out of your mind? You don't have to drink loads quick, just loads. A person can drink him/herself into a stupor in 10 minutes or in 5 hours. The occasionally resulting overload of alcohol in the blood can poison you just the same. Coma, death whatever. I do not condone overuse of MJ but I've never heard of anyone who died SOLEY from eating/smoking too much (unless they happened to be sitting on the edge of a building and fell off or similarly took a bath, fell asleep and drowned). Usually death from an 'overdose' of MJ occurs when other drugs (including alcohol) are entered into the equation.

I've wasted too much time already and those who drink and are against MJ hardly ever change their minds. We are entitled to our own opinions but remember history is recorded by the winners and therefore is not always completely accurate.

I'm only going to say one more thing.

I enjoy the occasional drink. Even a few drinks to get a bit tipsy isn't forbidden from my lifestyle (when I'm not pregnant that is). I also enjoy the occasional doobie/spacecake.

I try very hard not to overdo either. As all the stories above should show, drinking large amounts doesn't do anyone any good.
