Won't send/receive any emails.

Anybody know what I should do?

I knew somebody would say that. Thunderbird is DOG SHIT... Sorry, I know we have lots of lovers here. But the spam filter is way too overactive, even after training and the way you have to set up the accounts is ridiculous entering an SMTP server details and then assigning it to each account.

What old outlook version is the best to get that actually works well? I used express for years but recently it's been actin crazy.

The thunderbird spam filter definately sucks, but if you don't use the internal filter and combine it with http://www.firetrust.com/products/mailwasher-pro it's still better than the 2007 Outlook imho

I think I'm gonna do that juicy.

Considered buying a Mac so I can check my email.. but that's a bit extreme.

Thunderbird sucks ass. Outlook 2003 is fine but sucks when putting in URLs that you copy and paste from notepad. Seriously, it's .com and it's a URL, hyperlink the damn thing. Outlook 2007 is great and I have no issues with it.

never had that issue before

paste the url, go to the end of the line, hit enter, it hyperlinks automatically

I'm using Outlook 2002 on this computer. I guess there's no need to upgrade.

2003 is the shizzat ... can't see myself going to 2007 unless needed. I have an install of it on a desktop, seems like more inter-app integration then needed and I'm not to fond of the Ribbon system 07 is using.

I am really happy with Thunderbird. It was the only program that got me to leave Eudora behind.
