The thing of it is, Labrat wasn't "promoting" anything, he was merely stating his opinion, as inflamatory as they may be. Big difference. Stating your opinion about other races, cultures and countries is and should be perfectly legal. Counselling others to commit hate crimes against those cultures is what is illegal, something Labrat has yet to do.

Sorry.. I wasn't talking specifically about Labret. I think Labret is an insensitive asshole sometimes, usually with bigoted leanings, but I also think he can be funny. Because I dont live in the shithole section of detroit. I live three blocks from the border of what is considered the "Beverly Hills" of the midwest. Where sports stars and politicians live.

Why here than there? Because the same house I have now, 3 blocks away in Grosse Pointe Woods, will cost double. So I pay half, pay Detroit taxes, and have a Detroit address. If I move 3 blocks east I would have a GPW address and nobody would give me shit about Detroit then. But I find most people who bitch about Detroit... have never been to Detroit.

I dont want to make my neighborhood seem bad. Most of the Detroit cops choose to live in this area as well.

But on the other hand, 6 blocks east of me is some pretty hardcore ghetto. Thats the beauty of Detroit.

It would not be legal in California to shoot a person for breaking into your home unless he is displaying a deadly weapon. It used to be legal many years ago in this State and still is in some states.

I personally would not consider the legality of it. If someone breaks into my home they have just committed suicide. I am willing to take my chance in front of a jury.
