DESIGNERS! Need Help Please!

Whenever I try to convert an avi / gif / or whatever other file to swf files...I always get a white or black pixel added to the top and left hand sides of the file.

you can see what I mean by looking at this url...I have a sample of what the normal gif file looks like...and then what it looks like when I convert it.

Anyone know how I can avoid this?

Thanks for the help

looks like the file isn't centered exactly. One pixel down and one to the right

either that or the Flash composition size is too big. Actually think that's it ... the .swf is 171x110 and the .gif is 167x105

An easy fix would be to simply make the default background color in your .swf file black

I'm using Camtasia...other programs that convert gif / avi / etc files to swf files do this as well.

As you can see...my original file is fine...then when I open it in Camtasia and convert it, it adds a pixel to the left side and top of the animation...changing my background color would not help or make any sense. It still adds the extra pixels.

I tried using another program (Boomer Video) and it does the same thing.
