				 Thanks everyone.
 Couple of things of note.

 1. Pick lines hurt like hell when they put them in despite what they may "claim". This is more of a long term IV and blood draw device than the ones they put in the back of your hand or your arm. With this one they insert a long ass needle through your upper arm and into a large vein or artery (not sure which just deep and they need an x-ray afterwards). Holy shit that hurt when they attempted to numb the area to do it all.

 2. Hospital food has not gotten any damn better. Then to make matters even worse I am not allowed to eat certain foods for the next three to four weeks while on this antibiotic. No aged meats, no cheese, no on certain veggies, no beer, no wine, no soy, and well no lots of damn things. Not a huge list but enough small ingredients that when combined really piss you off to no end. Since it cancels out many fast food or easy to grab restaurant food. I swear if anything gets to me it will be the food.

You can not just fold some scrambled eggs on top of each other and call it an omelet for varieties sake. I am also afraid to say I think flavor and or spice has been banned from this building. I about screamed when my dinner was delivered. Menu stated enchiladas, well oops none for me (stupid cheese rule). So I get some white rice, boiled carrots, and a steamed chicken breast. Oh I also got a roll and some fruit. Whoo hoo!

 3. The death of the nurse outfit was not all bad. Ok true the outfit died about fifteen years ago but it is not all that bad. I will be the first to admit that the combo of scrubs and females is very damn good. See scrubs have this deep V neck and well.... Gawd I am so glad small breasted women are anti bra.

 4. Private rooms rock, enough said.

 5. Lack of DVR lets me know how damn addicted to that damn TV feature I was/am. I so keep reaching for the remote to pause or fast forward damn shows.

 6. I am using this to also quit smoking. Yippie even more stress and mood swings. Also nicorette gum tastes like what I imagine Dennis Leary's ass must taste like. It tastes so damn bad that I am pulling more of a cold turkey than chewing that crap. Maybe 1 piece if that a day.

 7. Night nurses are pretty damn creepy. Really they are. I seriously think they may not be all there if you know what I mean.

 | I wish you the best and a speedy recovery!!!
1. Trust me you will learn to love your pick line it beats getting stuck every day, and just think how jealous all the junkies are!
2.Nuff said the food suck! They always have popcicles ask around. Also find out who the hospital dietician is and have her come by and be real nice they can be your best friend. Seriously.
3. OMG I was very stoked UCLA has some of the hottest and brightest nurses around I hope you are lucky like that too it helps.
4. Private room = must have
5. Bring in a DVD playerask people to send you movies tv shows etc thankgod for the world cup last year I had a full month and a half of programming. PSP is also a great time waster, read and write in a journal you will be glad you did.
6. Good luck with the smoking keep at it!!
7. Freaky shit I know I woke up one night and a movie was on the TV with some killers loose in a hospital...

Anyway seriously if you need anything let me know I understand where you are at!! late |
