I think he might be suggesting that while booble got away with their google thing, your luck with myspace might not be so good.

At least, that is how I read it.

Your putting porn on a domain with myspace in it? Seriously, you're beginning to be contacted by Myspace's lawyers. Best of luck, but I personally would consider a name change, its probably cheaper to change the name before going live to the general public.

I think the word you were going for was begging. And I agree, hence my original comment.

Why would you want to spend the time and energy on something doomed to be C&D'ed . . . at least?

myspace.com U.S. age Demographics

18 and under = 60%
18-24 = 40%

do you want 18 and under at your site...lol :Oh crap

one, so far to test more will be up in a few hours

Ycaza 03-21-2007 09:24 AM

so i can answer this once and for all, yes its risky, but no more risky than a lot of other similar projects, I have done a lot of work in this and researched the risk. I am not a complete moron. so please enjoy or not enjoy, and of course I have similar domains, and if you really think about it, wouldn't the publicity of some action really help? of course it would.

A law suit from myspace would make his site way more profitable.
His damages(if myspace won) would be nothing but punitive which probably is around $2500. A press release about the change of his domain name and the money flows for all that publicity for only $2500.

Contrary to Ycaza's response, you are clueless. You think they are going to just make him pay $2,500 and let him keep it running?
