With their strikes, bullshit & the boring nature of the game, I'd be surprised if the sport is still on TV in 10 years.
Last I heard it was going broke and teams couldn't fill the stands.

I think 2-3 teams were going "broke" (couldn't make payroll). They're contracting teams to solve this problem.

A lot of teams can't fill stands, but a lot of them can. Especially winnings teams.

I agree, ive heard many stories about what an asshole he is, but he still is a quality baseball player. Most home runs in a single season, 2nd fastest player to reach 600 home runs, 2nd to babe ruth followed by hank aaron and willie mays. On top of that he was the fastest player ever to get from 500-600 homeruns. I think it was something like 714 games. How can you contest with that?

I dont like him, and could give two shits about him, but if I can sell that bat for anything over $1000 in a few months it was a decent investment. No its not going to buy me a new car, or a new house, but if I could make and extra $500-$1000 it would go towards a nice vacation for me and my girlfriend.

i just checked the website and the bats are sold out...also, people on ebay are already asking $10,000 for the bats! How ridiculous is that. so far it looks like a good investment, but well see
