need traffic trading script that works in wordpress - GoFuckYourself.com

every traffic trading script i have tried does not work in wordrpess for some reason, doesn't keep up with incoming hits or outgoing hits properly (incoming is infalted, outgoing the opposite) so what other then clickz style stuff will work right with wordpress?

Use Sloth Trader but put the PHP include as the first line on the actual "index.php" file at the blog root not the blog template files.

I used sloth on a few wp blogs but I'm moving away from WP now.

np just make sure you install the script in the same dir as the blog's root.

IE.. and make sure the include files is in the actuall index.php and "not" in the template index.php

Also make sure to use the full url in the toplist like this..

<a href="http://www.blogdomain.com/blog/sloth_out.php?trade=%DOMAIN1%">%NAME1%</a>

other wise the toplist will screw up on the category pages.

edit as a side note.. only thing that sucks with a blog and a trade script, is you see a lot of extra referrals from your domain. because every new page on the blog that the surfer opens ends up being tracked.

So I just add my own domain as a trade and then disable it and just subtract that total from the actual traffic level.

I tried that and I forget what the issue was but it screwed up for me on the blogs

Yea the next thing that would help them, is if they ditched wordpress..

and picked up Blogs Organizer

It allows you to run as many blogs as you want from one admin pannel including WP blogs and most other blog scripts and hosted blog services.

I've been building at least 1 new blog a day since I started using BO.

Also I guess I'll add this in case anyone tries out Blog Organizer and wants to use a trade script.

With BO you will need to install the trade script normally. But rename the index.php file that is generated by the script to something like main.php or what ever name.

The make a new index.php file with the following code.

<?
include ('sloth_in.php');
include('main.php');
?>

So that way you can use the trade script with your BO blogs as well.
