I didn't even think to check this until late yesterday as I just assumed the hosting companies would be on top of this. None of my dedicated servers, nor any of the virtual accounts were updated either... 4 different hosts.
Wow... 0/4 of my hosting companies updated servers for the TZ issue.

Is it really that big of a deal? So your clock is off an hour for a while, big whoop. Most sysadmins have more than enough shit to already and something like this really isn't at the top of the priority list. I'm sure if it's a problem for you you can email your 4 hosts and ask them to update it and they'd have no problem doing so.Comment

I thought I was paying them to manage those servers and run them properly. Is it really that big of a deal? So your clock is off an hour for a while, big whoop. Not only is that funny, it's quite sad at the same time because it means their servers are obviously very out-of-date since all operating systems were fixed way beforehand and all did it automatically.
Which also means they are not concerned about network security at all... It's disconcerting to know that 4 virtual hosting and/or "managed" servers providers don't maintain their servers.264 349 400Comment

Yep... That's what I was thinking as well... Was hoping some other people would check their servers out and see how wide spread this is.Not only is that funny, it's quite sad at the same time because it means their servers are obviously very out-of-date since all operating systems were fixed way beforehand and all did it automatically.
