Russian Hacker still walks around! Be Careful!
Do you remember that douganss.com hacker guy? He used to hack my site & install a trojan to the surfers using a php exploit (ns.php), and he did same thing to a few friends of mine.
After a small search, I found out that I am not the only one who suffered from these hack attempts, but whatever I did (reported his domain to the registrar and hosting company --- Russian Busines ....) they never acted. I heard that TrafficCashGold fhg galleries has been hacked and distrubuting spyware trojan, and because of that our traffic is suffered.
I am not sure but, could that spyware be zango? Or something similar, that will steal our sales / signups?. Webmasters should be more careful and take steps to future hack attempts to not participate in distrubuting spywares. Maybe we should make a public site for porn surfers and persuade them to use firefox, and a decent anti spy bot.
Any ideas?
PS: If you still use Apache 1.3.33 or anything lower than Apache 1.3.37, Upgrade it immediately! There are some security holes in earlier versions of Apache and PHP, so upgrade them regularly to avoid some of the hack attempts.
