Gotta get this out of the way right off the bat...

I am no kind of baller, and would never have made this purchase if it was not refurbished. I've been a single parent for too long to really feel comfortable spending money.

That said...

Yesterday we were watching the tourney on this.

Today, the munchkin and I are much happier to be watching this.

The cable guy comes to do the high def stuff on Tuesday, and I am lookin' forward to it!

I'm not sure yet what I am gonna do with it. The freakin' stands I was looking at were nearly as much as the tv. I will probably go to antique stores and try to find some funky thing.

The living room is 20 feet long, so once I get it all sorted out, it won't be so...dominant.

Sounds like the same TV I have, samsung 61" DLP widescreen... but I paid $3000 for mine

one of the best pictures I have seen on a TV .... HD shows are the shit on it... I also got a HD DVD player but its hard to get new movies on HD, most seem to be blue-ray
